Welcome, KZNaz Families!

Thank you for taking a moment to invest in your child’s spiritual journey. By checking in here, you’re showing them that what they’re learning about God matters—not just on Wednesday nights, but every day.

Each week, this page will highlight the Bible story, memory verse, and practical ways you can continue the conversation at home. Our hope is that these simple tools spark meaningful moments with your child—whether at the table, in the car, or before bedtime.

We’re so grateful for the opportunity to partner with you as your child discovers what it means to live and love like Jesus.

Kingz Kidz
(Preschool - 4th Grade)

Preschool

This Week’s Lesson:

Bible Story: Baby Moses — Exodus 2:1–10
Memory Verse: “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. Jeremiah 29:11 (NLT)
Main Idea: God has plans for you.

Why It Matters: Preschoolers are learning trust at the most basic level. Teaching them that God has good plans helps build a foundation of security and confidence in His love.

Engagement Ideas:
Morning Time: As you wake your child, say, “Do you know God has plans for you today?
Cuddle Time: Snuggle close and thank God together for His good plans.
Drive Time: Remind your child that God had a plan for baby Moses—and He has a plan for them.
Bedtime: Ask, "what is one good thing that happened today?"

Prayer for Parents to Pray:  “God, thank You for loving [ your child’s name] and having a good plan for their life. Help me trust Your plans for them, even when I can’t see how everything will work out.”

Elementary

This Week’s Lesson:

Bible Story: Moses and the Israelites — Exodus 3–14
Memory Verse: “When I’m afraid, I put my trust in you.” Psalm 56:3 (NIrV)
Main Idea: With God’s help, we can do brave things, even when life feels uncertain.

Why It Matters: Elementary kids are just starting to discover who God is and what it means to trust Him. Stories of courage, like Moses, remind them that God is with them in scary or new situations.

Engagement Ideas:
Morning Time: As your child starts their day, remind them of a time you saw them try something brave.
Meal Time: Ask, “What’s something coming up that makes you feel nervous? How can we ask God to help?”
Drive Time: Share about a time when you felt scared, but trusted God.
Bedtime: Pray together, thanking God for being with us in every moment.

Prayer for Parents to Pray: “God, thank You for giving [your child’s name] courage. Help them to remember that You are always with them, and that they don’t have to be afraid because You are their helper.”

Middle School
(5th-8th Grade)

This Week’s Lesson:

Theme / Scripture:  Brave the unknown with God  / Exodus 3–6:12, 7–12:42, 13:17–14:31
Big Idea: God’s truth gives us courage to face the challenges of middle school life.

Why It Matters: Junior high students are learning to think for themselves and often wrestle with big questions about identity, belonging, and faith. When they see that Scripture speaks to their real struggles, it builds a foundation of trust in God.

Engagement Ideas:
Conversation Starter: “What’s one question you had from youth group this week?”
Supportive Action: Encourage your student when you see them take a step of faith or courage.
Faith Connection: Share with them a story of how God was real to you at their age.

Prayer for Parents to Pray: “Lord, thank You for walking with [student’s name]. Give them courage to trust You with their questions, and help me to guide them with patience and faith.”

High School
(9th-12th Grade)

Series: Unchained – A 4-Week Series on Freedom
Theme Verse: “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” John 8:36 (NIV)
This Week’s Focus: The Promise of Freedom – John 8:31–36

Big Idea: True freedom comes only through Jesus—He breaks the chains of sin, shame, and fear so we can live fully in Him.

Why It Matters: High school students are surrounded by voices telling them what freedom looks like—whether it’s independence, fitting in, or doing whatever they want. This series helps them see that the only lasting freedom comes from Jesus. Understanding this truth now equips them to resist cultural pressure and live out their faith with confidence.

Engagement Ideas:
Morning Connect: “Remember—real freedom comes from Jesus, not just doing whatever we want. Where do you need            His freedom today?”
Mid-Day Text: “Don’t forget—you’re free in Christ. Walk confident today. ”
Evening Reflection:  Ask: “What felt heavy today? How can Jesus remind you you’re free?”

Prayer for Parents to Pray: “Jesus, thank You for setting [your teen’s name] free through Your love and sacrifice. Help them to see that true freedom is found only in You. Give them strength to walk boldly in that freedom each day.”
