Welcome, KZNaz Families!

Thank you for taking a moment to invest in your child’s spiritual journey. By checking in here, you’re showing them that what they’re learning about God matters—not just on Wednesday nights, but every day.

Each week, this page will highlight the Bible story, memory verse, and practical ways you can continue the conversation at home. Our hope is that these simple tools spark meaningful moments with your child—whether at the table, in the car, or before bedtime.

We’re so grateful for the opportunity to partner with you as your child discovers what it means to live and love like Jesus.

Preschool

Preschool – March
Theme: Jesus Is Amazing!
Memory Verse: “We have seen amazing things today!” — Luke 5:26 (NLT)

What Your Child Is Learning This Month
- Week 1: Water to Wine (John 2:1–11)
- Week 2: Coin in the Fish’s Mouth (Matthew 17:24–27)
- Week 3: The Centurion’s Faith (Matthew 8:5–13)
- Week 4: Jesus Walks on Water (Matthew 14:22–23; Mark 6:45–52; John 6:16–21)
- Week 5: Palm Sunday (Matthew 21:1–11; John 12:12–15)

This month, preschoolers are discovering that Jesus can do amazing things. From miracles to calming storms, each story helps them see that Jesus is powerful, loving, and worthy of trust.

Why This Matters: Preschoolers are learning what it means to trust. Seeing that Jesus is strong, kind, and able builds early faith confidence. When they learn that Jesus is amazing, they begin to believe He is amazing for them.

How You Can Reinforce It at Home
- Say often: “Jesus is amazing!”
- Point out amazing things in creation and connect them to God’s power.
- Pray simple prayers thanking Jesus for helping and protecting your child.

Prayer for Parents: “Jesus, help my child grow in wonder and trust. Let them believe deeply that You are powerful, kind, and always near.”

Elementary

Elementary – March
Theme: Treat Others the Way Jesus Treats You
Memory Verse: “Don’t do anything only to get ahead… Instead, be humble. Value others more than yourselves.” — Philippians 2:3 (NIrV)

What Your Child Is Learning This Month
- Week 1: John the Baptist Points to Jesus (John 3:22–36) — Jesus must increase; I must decrease.
- Week 2: A Roman Commander’s Faith (Matthew 8:5–13) — Remember God is most important.
- Week 3: Be Humble / Love Your Enemies (Matthew 5:38–48) — Love like Jesus, even when it’s hard.
- Week 4: Mary and Martha (Luke 10:38–42) — Make time for Jesus first.
- Week 5: Palm Sunday / Jesus Washes Feet (John 12:9–16; 13:1–17) — Jesus showed us how to be humble.

This month centers on humility and putting others first — living “upside down” compared to the world.

Why This Matters: Elementary students are becoming more socially aware. They are learning what leadership, kindness, and friendship look like. Teaching them that Jesus values humility and selflessness shapes character early.

How You Can Reinforce It at Home
- Celebrate moments when your child puts someone else first.
- Ask: “What would it look like to treat them the way Jesus would?”
- Model humility — apologize when needed and value others openly.

Prayer for Parents: “Lord, grow humility in my child. Teach them to treat others with compassion and courage, just as Jesus treats them.”

What Your Student Is Learning This Month

- Week 2: A Roman Commander’s Faith (Matthew 8:5–13) — How do you show that God is important?
- Week 3: Be Humble / Love Your Enemies (Matthew 5:38–48) — How can you show kindness to someone who makes you mad?
- Week 4: Mary and Martha (Luke 10:38–42) — How can you make time for Jesus?
- Week 5: Palm Sunday / Jesus Washes Feet (John 12:9–16; 13:1–17) — When has someone put you first?

Preteens are being challenged to live differently — not chasing status or pride, but reflecting Jesus through humility and courage.

Why This Matters: Preteens are forming deeper identity and relational patterns. Learning to decrease pride, increase compassion, and prioritize Jesus creates a faith that withstands peer pressure.

How You Can Reinforce It at Home
- Ask reflective questions instead of correcting immediately.
- Discuss what humility actually looks like in friendships and school.
- Encourage small, practical acts of kindness.

Prayer for Parents: “Jesus, shape my student’s heart to look like Yours. Help them value others, stay humble, and make time for You in a busy world.”

High School – Monthly Focus
Series: TRUE LOVE

What Your Student Is Learning This Month: This month, students are exploring what real love actually means — not the version culture promotes, but the kind of love that begins with God and transforms every relationship.
- Week 1: Unwavering Love – Romans 8:38–39 God’s love never fails.
- Week 2: True Friendship – Proverbs 17:17 Healthy friendships are built on loyalty, trust, and shared faith.
- Week 3: Love Yourself Well – Matthew 22:39 Understanding your identity in Christ shapes how you treat yourself and others.
- Week 4: Love in Action – 1 John 4:19 Real love isn’t just words — it’s lived out through action.

Why This Matters High school students are constantly forming beliefs about love — through social media, dating culture, friendships, and peer expectations. Many equate love with approval, attention, or performance. This series helps students anchor their understanding of love in something secure: God’s unwavering love.

When they know they are fully loved by God:
- They don’t look to relationships to define their worth.
- They build healthier friendships.
- They treat others with greater compassion.
- They live out their faith with confidence.

How You Can Reinforce It at Home
- Ask open-ended questions like, “What do you think real love looks like?”
- Share how understanding God’s love has shaped your relationships.
- Encourage your teen to evaluate friendships — do they strengthen or weaken their faith?
- Affirm your teen’s identity apart from performance or popularity.

Prayer for Parents “God, thank You for loving my student with a love that never fails. Help them understand their worth in You. Teach them to build healthy relationships and to show Your love boldly and genuinely.”
