James "Humble Yourself"

"Humble Yourself | James 4:1–10"

What’s really behind the conflict in your life? James doesn’t hold back—he says it’s the evil desires warring within us. We chase after things the world offers, but they leave us dry and empty, missing what our souls truly need.

Too often we come to God in prayer with our minds already made up, asking Him to bless what we’ve already decided instead of surrendering to His will. But James reminds us:

“God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”

There’s a better way. Come close to God, and He will come close to you.
