James - "God of our Resources"
This week we dive into James 5:1–6, one of the most sobering passages in Scripture. James delivers a direct warning to the wealthy—condemning greed, exploitation, and selfish indulgence. There’s no call to repentance here, only judgment.
But why would James write with such severity? Because God is faithful. His Word assures us that He will bring justice against the wicked and warns us not to get swept into the same empty pursuit of wealth and comfort.
We’ll be reminded that our identity is not in wealth but in Christ. We’ll see that money cannot buy God’s favor, and that every resource we have is a gift meant to build His Kingdom—not ours.
Key questions we’ll wrestle with:
* What resources has God entrusted to you?
* Are you building your kingdom… or His?
* What happens when we mistake earth for heaven?
Join us as we challenge cultural lies about wealth and embrace the eternal perspective God calls us to live by.
